Being such a popular and portable device has meant the Ipad Mini 2 was a hit on the market after the 1st Gen. Because of this, we have seen a lot of smashed screens from were people have dropped it.

The Mini 2 has a separate LCD/Touchscreen, this means if you just crack the glass but the screen looks ok then the repair will be much cheaper as only the touchscreen (digitizer) will have to be replaced.
